Been having a computer problem for a few days. Should be fixed now.

Anyway, an ‘improved’ version of Tuesday’s post. Rendered Wednesday, shopped Thursday, posted Saturday. Changed the shirt’s colour from rose to byzantium, made it more sheer, fixed the magnets to better follow the breasts.

Yes, I am both boring and trashy.

another experiment

Following my previous post, I swapped in a figure with Creature Creator morphs enabled. Eventually realised I didn't have to dial the cat face to 100% to be cat-like enough. This seems to be about the right amount to be felinised while still recognisably my face.

Also, my old "Aisha" hair fits these ears, and I have a tail now.

ETA: I revisited this figure & pose a couple years later.

Couple observations about this:

This is a very simple lighting setup—dim white spotlight fill matched to the camera, & one distant light with an amber tone—and it somehow looks the most conventionally lit to me of anything I’ve done in DAZ Studio.

This was meant to be a shot of regular cartoon Nia for March, just to have one. (Of course my Tumbloni is a variant of same, but is she “me”?) I had some problems with an earlier version that caused me to restart the program; I got distracted & didn’t fix them; so I finally, with an hour left in March, pulled up this concept from January 2019 & reshot it with a new pose & expression. I ran over time, & while it’s still March in the Western Hemisphere, where I physically am (as far as you know), this blog is always on Greece time, making this an April 1 post. I am not happy about this.

Remember when I was rendering something every day? That was wild.

The fills on this could be better. Oh well.

I didn’t feel like working on art today, so I just made a new camera & shot yesterday’s scene again.

Made of some rejected choices from yesterday, with a new pose & a tweaked background. The legs & hip are in the same place, & the lights are the same, & I guess I left the fingers the same, so it’s pretty close.

(I turned & stretched the background & did some different Photoshop to it.)

I chewed on this idea some more. This is more what I was planning and trying to do a few days ago. The teal-red mix wasn’t really expected, but I think it works all right.
