When I designed the Ellery imp, following on design elements from devil Nia, I gave her a glowing blue tail and horns. Somewhere along the way I turned off the glow on the imp's tail. Well, let's put it back.
I didn't upload new art yesterday, but at least I can share some more angles on this scene now.

This was an attempt to render the pet character of someone on Bluesky. Someone who was asking artists for this kind of thing! Don't think that I just model people's OC's, invent boyfriends for them, and render porn of them, out of the blue!

Well. She's a little off-model. I may redo this scene giving her longer limbs and more pale skin.
But I think this is pretty good for two new characters and a scene thrown together in a day, so I am publishing it.

May. 7th, 2026 10:44 amI decided to give my computer a little bit of a workout by revisiting this scene, finally showing Hiromu, Nia, and Jessi all in one shot.

I also like showing that I did pose the feet that were cut off in some shots. I added another block of terrain, seen behind cartoon Nia here; and proudly rendered these two shots. 😊
Then I realised I had to fix some of the feet, where ground was poking through the sandals. 😮💨

Sunlight shadow meme Spring 2026

This hand shadows meme was going around Bluesky among the artists who draw, and, well, shadows are kind of a thing that I do. So I decided I would figure out how to model it.
And no, ambient daylight does not work this way. Technically, these shots should be set in the dark. But I did these two in what is meant to look like sunlight. Leaning into the surrealness of the meme.
Also. I really thought I had lost the character designs for both Nylissa and Fraise! But no, I had early versions of them. :-)

So I was going to give the new version of Nia angel wings—or give angel Nia the new boobs, in effect—and I had both the devil bits and the angel bits on the figure at the same time, and I decided to use that for a render. I called her "the satan Nia," but maybe there's a better name.

I first designed devil and angel versions of my cartoon avatar thinking they'd be a shoulder devil and shoulder angel. Then I never, not in years, used them that way. (Unless I started to do and forgot, I guess.)
So Ellery gets a shoulder imp, scaled down (1:6) and on her shoulder, before cartoon Nia does!
I can't be bothered to put these two in pants right now, so nsfw. I figured I was just shooting Ellery from waist up, and I decided to let the imp be, well, impish. Also, I like the idea of Ellery's shoulderangel devil imp being a hermaphroditic wee brownie. ( Cut for bits. )

Apr. 13th, 2026 09:03 pmI tweaked devil Nia a bit. A bit more. She was mostly just me with horns. Now she has some physical tweaks; including fuller boobs, which should make it to regular cartoon Nia; and a tail that glows a little bit, which I'm not sure I'll even keep for devil Nia.
