I was surprised to find I’d never posted Iris’s ‘Blue Threat’ outfit. I’d designed it last fall, even given it a nickname and…oh, I had to tweak it some more. I see why I’d not published any shots of it before. Added some magnets to the dress, & it seems OK now.
This was shot with very pink, very intense lights, which were a bit harsh. I shot it again with some low olive-toned fills & integrated the two shots in Photoshop. OK, that’s not so strange. But I ended up with lighting very, very different from anything I have published before.

I haven’t felt much like making a bunch of cartoon character costumes this Hallowe'en. But I was working on something else a little spooky earlier today, and it wasn’t working out.
So, now that the day is ending, instead have an image of unicornified Iris on a unicorn. It’s fantastical, and almost costume-like, yes? (I’m not saying that Iris knows how to ride properly.)
