Well, I haven’t gotten the ‘rona & died, yet.
I did get very depressed early in July, & couldn’t do art properly for a while, though.

When I shot Jenny’s rainbow, I insisted she take off the scarf, even though that’s part of her trademark. I suggested having it lying on the ground in this frame, but that might have looked like she threw it away, which would be worse.

This idea, of an image with Jenny Everywhere dancing (basically) naked with her scarf artistically obscuring her bits, was something I planned to post on New Year’s Day, when I was angry at Tumblr. But I didn’t have the energy to finish it then, and I forgot about it, which was probably for the best.

Well, this bad idea is happening now! I’ve been wanting to do something with Jenny lately. I found this idea in her folder, and decided to do it. Posed her & her scarf, gave the scene some wacky floor elements, lit the scene, and made it a transparent PNG. let’s see what Tumblr make of it now.

I’ve been told I’m not that good with faces, but let’s try this. Bunch of faces from the last year.

A second post today. What was supposed to be yesterday’s post was a bit late.

It’s Jenny’s birthday! I might do another render of her today if I make time.

An unpublished shot from last November, revisited today with some lighting adjustments.

I didn’t post a seventh consecutive Jenny Everywhere image yesterday, so I’ll post one today. A smutty Monday post to sort of close out a sort of week of Jenny Everywhere images. I don’t mean to confirm anything about her sexuality with those rainbow stockings. I may be implying something, but I may well change my mind when she pops up again.

This was supposed to be a quick shot, but I kept finding errors. I’m thinking of posting a week of a comics, with no lighting, and not worrying so much about pokethrough.

This shot was in shadow and I decided not to use it two days ago for composition reasons. Today I brightened it up in Photoshop. The room looks a bit greener now due to tweaking levels for contrast.

She’s hard for me to write for, even more so than other characters, so art in alien settings it is.

I was really sick of the scarf I’ve been using for Jenny. I wanted an excuse to ditch it, and an evening dress came to mind.

Customising the dress and the gloves to match was a lot of fun. The dress is 3D-Age’s “Goddess.” I didn’t realise or didn’t remember that it had so many handles (37!) on the skirt. I still don’t understand what exactly they all do.

I wonder, if I were designing a 3D version of Jenny Everywhere now, if I wouldn’t make her darker-skinned and more hourglass-shaped. But I think this version, skinny and light-skinned, runs pretty close to a lot of other artists’ interpretations, so maybe not. Anyway, I think she’s pretty cool.

I can almost write, but I'm not getting a comic out of this yet. So another variation on the previous shot for now.

I was not really happy with the overall shot as rendered. I like the reflections. I considered posting a crop just of legs and reflections. But I had the idea to run Photoshop filters over it and make it an "illustration." I think it worked out.

Um.
Jenny Everywhere's butt is available for portrayal by any artist. But any publication involving Jenny Everywhere's butt must include the licence for Jenny Everywhere or the licence for her butt, in order that other artists may include Jenny Everywhere's butt as they wish. All rights reversed.

Jenny, Teresa, & Creedence

And of course Teresa covers her face as I take the shot.

Ironically, I think I got nothing posted for Tuesday (until now) because I wasn't sleeping enough. Anyway, I did do some work. I thought I'd spend a week on a character; I decided on Jenny Everywhere after using her for Monday's daily render. But what is she going to do? Well, so far she's just standing around.

I'm afraid the the newest version of DAZ Studio may be getting beyond what my little old laptop can handle.

I heard that DAZ3D finally put a sort of dynamic cloth room in DAZ Studio, so I had to try it. But I couldn't get part of it to work. I had to update the driver on my graphics card to allow me to run the 'dForce' dynamic function at all, but there are problems beyond that. The copy of DS 4.10 I downloaded is buggy, and the dynamic simulations are very slow. I gave up.

So, instead of some wacky dynamic cloth effect, I ended up with this shot as a daily render. This was shot in 32-bit DS 4.0, which I have used for much of the last six years, and which I know my way around all right. I wonder when my hardware will give out.

This is, of course, my version of Jenny Everywhere, just without the goggles and scarf.

Oh! I forgot this part: “The character of Jenny Everywhere is available for use by anyone, with only one condition. This paragraph must be included in any publication involving Jenny Everywhere, in order that others may use this property as they wish. All rights reversed.”

A day late here because of browser issues with this site I still don't understand. HTTPS Everywhere wasn't active, because apparently I turned it off without noticing. So I only had HTTPS on some of Dreamwidth, but not the pages I use most; and I don't know why. And my browser would log me out when I came to post here.

I changed my antivirus.
