Felt like this year's wheel of sexy was getting close to just being a lot of cartoon me's boobs. I had a lot of sexy art this year! But not every month. So a couple of these were just as sexy or flirty a piece as I had published that month.

Bringing back this format.

This was a rough year, but I somehow survived it whether I should have or not. And if you're reading this, maybe you did too!

I had pretty much given up on doing a retrospective graphic for last year, considering how unproductive I was. But then I decided to try to represent the difference between the three more productive months and the rest.

The third of my retrospective grids for 2019: the “sexy” one. Because I had to make this harder, despite not doing much art some months. I should have just folded the best of these into the main one. But it’s done.

I had a few good choices for January, but I really wanted that one image.

2019 artwork retrospective pieces! So I’m a month late. This is just variations on cartoon me. I think I’ll also do a general one & a sexy one in this format.

OK, it’s been about seven years since I started this blog. I’ve been sort of putting off any big changes until now. A piece I posted at the end of April seemed like such a good ‘goodbye’ piece that I mostly stopped doing art, and did stop posting art, early this month. I also wanted to deal with some things by getting into a different headspace. I’m not sure it helped.

Talking about doing this for seven years would mean more if I were actually doing this for the whole seven years, and & really haven’t been.

I didn’t even do any art yesterday.

Oh wait, yes I did. But I only posted it on Twitter.

OK, I did actually do some texture work today, but I don’t know if it will ever make it into a comic. The way I’m feeling, could be anywhere from soon to never.

Re-using the disc style from last year. I thought about another shape, but I already had this template, so...

This mostly wasn’t a good year for my art. Like last year, I did an extra retrospective wheel just for renders of my cartoon self. I was surprised to find one month with nothing new in that category.

An early draft of my 2017 retrospective wheel. All of these are of ‘cartoon Nia,’ or variations on cartoon Nia.

So when I will do new art? I just don’t know.

I had the idea for this wheel shaped retrospective back around the end of November. It just took me this long to make it!

Looking back now, I was surprised at a few pieces having only been made in 2017. I would have thought they were older.

Oh, wow, this has been a long year.

I didn’t produce very many renders to choose from the last two months. But I was doing some creative experimentation earlier in the year.

Last time I did this, I said, “Some of my favourite pieces from the last year.”

This year got pretty rough. I think I more or less quit three times? So, I don’t know if “favourites” is the word. Just a quick look back.

I suppose tomorrow is the actual anniversary of my first post on this tumblr.

But it was three years ago I opened a gmail account, a dreamwidth, and a tumblr, and started making and posting comics.
