Meta: Avatar thoughts

I'm used to my avatar as my online face. Changing it might be asking for trouble. I have thought about tweaking it; whether to make a joke about getting fat sitting at the computer, or to reflect the "inner me" in some way. (I do show up in the strip without makeup sometimes now!)

But, even though this is just weight and hair, I worry about doing that much even as a gag. There are responses that will bug me, and it feels safer to hide behind a mask that's both consistent and bit...unusual, let's say.

So I'm not giving the default version of my avatar such a drastic set of changes all at once.

Unless I turn back into a snake, or am suddenly a guy or really aged or something. :D
