Wow, I had forgotten about this! This was probably an abandoned idea for the giant Girls with Slingshots guest week some time back (which has sadly disappeared from Danielle's site). Jeannette in costume as Hazel from that comic. Red hair, kind of plain clothing, a beer bottle in hand--that's pretty much all you need for a Hazel costume.

Well, I went to sleep for six hours in the middle of working on this. Because of not sleeping Sunday, which was very foolish. Since I’m already late, I decided it was simpler and quicker to leave Jeannette’s hand in this position. even though I kind of wanted to have it on Ozzy’s thigh or just poking inside his shorts’ waistband.

This is of course modified from the scene I built for a strip five weeks ago, which I seem to have called both “lazy day in bed." & “lazy feet." Shooting at this angle lets me avoid worrying about adding windows and doors, and also the question of whether their bedroom wallpaper really has that bloody tampon oddly red stylised-bulrushes-at-dawn pattern.

United Webcomics is doing swimsuit images for cross-promotion. Hilariously, they still have my DrunkDuck address. But the Duck is being nice and redirecting it to "theduckwebcomics" so I am letting it slide this time.

OK, deep breath–featuring two crows, Ellery, Malcolm, Zipporah, Sandrine, Arlo, Jessi, Misha, Steff, Sylvio, Sandrine again, Ellery again, Domingo (haven’t seen him in a while), Jeannette, and LaFaonne.

It’s funny. As long as I’ve been doing this I don’t think I’ve ever published a strip that mentions that Jeannette and LaFaonne have been best friends at least since high school. I knew this even before I designed Elaine.

I need to get more work done, huh?

Once again, due to lazy reasons, Ozzy and Jeannette play the role of designated straight couple.

These are pretty raw shots. No background, because I’ve not decided what their bedroom should look like.

A day ago, I wanted to do something creative, and got an idea that I…still haven’t finished. The poses here are mostly one of SledgeHammer’s prefab packages, tweaked a little (like head positions, & Jeannette’s curled toes) and posted to get something done quickly. I’m so lazy. I wish this were more clever, but I like Jeannette’s goofy face here.
