Filthy Flirty Creedy, expanded

I was provoked by somebody calling Creedence (in the daily render two days ago) anorexic. Apparently the sunken cheeks gave a bad impression, but that was just a face she was making.

So I went back and did another shot without the hunched shoulders and puckered mouth. This may not make any difference to the judgment that she’s unhealthily thin, but at least it shows her face in a more normal expression. I also reshot the first image with better (read: any) shadows from her hair.

I think somone following this blog already gets this, probably; but I may as well make a point of it: I consider myself a cartoonist and a visual artist. I design lots of characters. They’re meant to look different from each other, and to cover a wide range of different body types. I don’t have a lot of details about Creedy’s personality pinned down, but from a visual design standpoint, yes, she’s very thin, and long-legged. Some folks are just thin.
