Thinking about Rebeccapurple, from a colour design standpoint. It seems like a moderately saturated, moderately bright wisteria purple. Let’s see what other colours have a 51, 102, 153 mix.



Wow, these seem surprisingly muddy to me. I thought they’d be brighter. Is it my monitor?

I guess you can’t expect that much from 2/3 saturation & 3/5 brightness. But the purple seems to work well. Maybe it’s just that high purple energy, or maybe it’s just me.

If you don't know the term rebeccapurple, it's been in html/css for about five years now. There's a story behind it.
I discovered it while reading up on colour names this autumn.

Well, this is technically a render.

I have been in a rut for a few days. I spent six consecutive daily renders on one scenario & the last four of those on basically one moment of that scenario, and I still had to fix errors caught after I’d uploaded the last piece. I got sick of it. I’ve had a sequential strip of that scene half done for a few days, but have not finished it. It might pop up over the next month.

Anyway, even if the last week was me taking a break from doing much creative, or even clothed; I finally took a break from all that sexy stuff, and with it, the biological, the realistic, and the photoshoppery.

Actually, I have already at least mostly designed a new character today, based on a idea I’ve had for days (& kept putting off to work on Mayomi & Pascal’s little scene). But this is me just doing something completely different.
